Guardian Alarm announces the acquisition of Executive Security Consultants in Columbus, OH

Established in 1988 by Doug and Sandy Huey, Executive Security Consultants (ESC) provides residential and commercial alarm services in the greater Columbus area. Together, they worked countless hours to ensure they were providing peace of mind to their customers. This acquisition continues this legacy as both companies provide exemplary, personalized customer service, but also have a family-like culture that exists within their teams.

Today, 11/12/25, Guardian technician John Fay came to my home to determine why my new wireless doorbell could not connect to my WiFi system. The problem started 11/6/25, when I recharged the battery for the first time and it did not reconnect to the WiFi system. I called Guardian Alarm technical support and worked with Andre for 30 minutes but the doorbell could not connect. He scheduled first available appointment for 11/12, noon to 4 pm window. John Fay called ahead and arrived at 2:25 as estimated. John updated the firmware and then connected the doorbell with no problem. He was professional and efficient, patiently answered my questions and provided tips on setting the doorbell for best use in my location. I will be asking for John Fay if I need any service calls in the future. I am pleased with service and quality of equipment Guardian Alarm provides.

They sent a few text messages through the week to notify appointment. Once the day of appointment was here, they called and confirmed the 1 to 2 hour window they were showing up. 30 minutes before they called to make sure we were still home and ready for their arrival. They showed up and fixed the problem within 10/20 minutes.

Sales team came out and inspected our home and recommended replacement security products that incorporated our existing hard wired sensors. Technicians were prompt, courteous and patient given some complexities in the installation requirements. All work was completed on the same day, tested and we were shown how to use the system.
