Sales team came out and inspected our home and recommended replacement security products that incorporated our existing hard wired sensors. Service via phone call to reconnect two keypads was excellent. The problem occurred after new routers were installed at my house.
The technician was very knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and kind.
The interaction took a long time … probably due to the fact that the technician was dealing with a non-techie grandmother.

I had three doors replaced in my house and garage. I haven’t painted the trim yet but the alarm sensors had to be reinstalled. The service technician Mike did a great job. He was prompt, courteous and professional.
I couldn’t ask for better service.

My "installation" was rather simple. Having been a customer already, I only needed to have my system reactivated. For those that don't know, it's a simple process of going through the panel to establish the connection with the monitoring and calibrating the cameras. After that you test the system and you're off.
My technician was Justin. A knowledgable nice guy who knows his stuff and made the process go by quick. If I were to require any technicians to come out for any reason in the future, I'd request him and be happy to wait whatever time was needed. A lot of people may know how to do the job but not everyone is great at customer service. He is.

TJ was very friendly and professional. He installed my alarm and explained everything with patience. Guardian is the way to go for a home alarm system.

Tim Kapottos deserves more than 5 stars for work “above and beyond” upgrading my Guardian alarm system in the fall of 2025. He is an expert technician, a great problem solver and a genuinely nice person. The upgrades were expected to be relatively simple, but turned out to be more complex. Tim had to solve a number of unexpected problems to complete the work, and he worked methodically to solve each one. He also took the time to explain what was happening. The next time I need a Guardian technician, I hope it’s Tim (or someone he trained).

I got scammed by a home security company. they came with some new updated equipment fancy stuff and I wanted to try it. They told me that they will pay my final bill with my current provider which was guardian I had no problems with guardian home security I just like some of their equipment that they had they told me they would pay that last final bill not to worry when I agreed to go forward with the application I had to unlock my credit and unlock my credit card. And then, in that short period of time, the person the representative Who is at my home apply for a $6000 credit card that I did not OK and I did not approve. He lied to me about everything. I trusted the young man. They all came in from another state. I believe it was California. They were not originally from Ohio so after I cancel my subscription and had all the equipment recovered, I had no service I had no security. I felt naked, and I owe a final bill to close my account with guardian. I feel like a fool that was so stupid of me. Why did I regret it because being on a budget I just didn’t have the extra money laying around to pay a final bill, but the people are guardian understood they were always kind soft spoken never harsh or judging me. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very patient and I want them to take me back please take me back guardian they were good.

My process was not great but they made up for an error so that was good. Its hard to get a hold of someone for logging into the app which you need. Would recommend a more direct hotline for that. So they did make up for the mistake, which was good.

Worked with Daniel Erce a few years ago when my wife and I bought our home. He helped me get set up with a great system. His knowledge and expertise is unmatched compared to other people/companies I have used for home security in the past. Highly recommend Guardian and Dan!

We have been with Guardian Alarm since 1986. Overall we have been satisfied with their service. We have occasional equipment or service issues but they have always been responsive in getting things resolved. We have been using the Guardian Connect app for several years without issues.

They sent a few text messages through the week to notify appointment. Once the day of appointment was here, they called and confirmed the 1 to 2 hour window they were showing up. 30 minutes before they called to make sure we were still home and ready for their arrival. They showed up and fixed the problem within 10/20 minutes.

Dennis I. came to install our system and he was fantastic. Showed up on time, was knowledgeable, and worked with us since we had to keep production running. As the appointment ended he even showed me a few tips on using the system that I was unaware of, it was great to realize what the “stay” mode meant, and that I could turn the chime on or off at will. After our alarm system provider of 35 plus years decided we were not worth making their system work, we were given Guardian's contact information from a family member. The installation was completed in one day by Justin V. He figured out everything about our old system, kept us informed and educated us on the new system. The sales person, Kara even stopped by to make sure everything was going smoothly. What a difference from Cincinnati Alarm. Very customer focused. So far we are very satisfied with the new system.

We have had our alarm system for 3 weeks now and are very satisfied with it. We liked the guardian system because it did not require a lot of wiring and drilling, it is a very clean system which can easily cover every room in the house. It also has easy access options from the panel, your cell phone or laptop.

It took a while before we had all the settings adjusted to our needs, it would have been nice if we were given an owners manual at the beginning to help us with the various options. During the installation, you really don't know what you want, but after a couple of days of hearing "garage door open" you want to silence that! They have very good technical customer service which helped me through these options and advised where I would download the owners manual (it was too large to attach to an email).

TJ, the gentleman who installed our system was also very helpful, coming out to our home after hours to fix a doorbell chime not working and promptly returning all calls made to him. Our salesperson, Angela, was also very friendly and helpful!

John Fay was an Excellent service provider. Our home has many similar descriptive rooms so it’s not easy to determine the names given to each installed alarm component and I was of little help. He looked for malfunctioning alarms and found each one bringing each to the alarm box to match numbers to make sure it was correct. Not only did I guide him in the wrong direction, but he kept his same upbeat demeanor with much kindness and patience while troubleshooting all the alarms. I couldn’t ask for a better service representative of Guardian Alarm. John was the best!

Today, 11/12/25, Guardian technician John Fay came to my home to determine why my new wireless doorbell could not connect to my WiFi system. The problem started 11/6/25, when I recharged the battery for the first time and it did not reconnect to the WiFi system. I called Guardian Alarm technical support and worked with Andre for 30 minutes but the doorbell could not connect. He scheduled first available appointment for 11/12, noon to 4 pm window. John Fay called ahead and arrived at 2:25 as estimated. John updated the firmware and then connected the doorbell with no problem. He was professional and efficient, patiently answered my questions and provided tips on setting the doorbell for best use in my location. I will be asking for John Fay if I need any service calls in the future. I am pleased with service and quality of equipment Guardian Alarm provides.

I couldn't have asked for a better technician. Rudy was very knowledgeable respectful of my home and very nice spectrum is lucky to have a worker like that. He explained everything clearly and kept asking if I had any other questions. They need more workers like him. The only disappointment I had was the equipment they use. The wireless contacts they use are large plastic and are unpleasant to look at.

I just had an alarm and camera system installed at my home and the process couldn't have been smoother. Mitchell and James were both top-notch installation technicians. They were kind, competent, knowledgeable, and patient. I particularly enjoyed their attention to detail on installation, taking care to not harm any of the fixtures and finishes on my home, and making sure devices are secured, level, and installed properly. I was shown how everything works on the panel, and I was given a tutorial on how to use the phone and app resources as well. 10/10

I like the fact that I did not have to wait on hold and I did not have to wait for the phone to ring 7 times. They answered right away. So I like that and they were so nice about my concerns and helped me fix them.
